Man’s Environmental Footprint

One of my images, Ship Junkyard (below) was accepted for exhibition in a juried competition entitled “Our Environment, the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly” at the Center for Fine Art Photography in Ft. Collins, Colorado.  The juror is Robert Glenn Ketchum who is a well known Landscape photographer and conservationist.    This focus of this show, man’s impact on the environment and how photography can in turn impact this, challenged me to put together a collection of images that show man’s influence in various ways on our natural landscape....from our need for oil and mining and power to old junked boats in an Alaskan Harbor to abandoned vehicles  and fishing supplies on the isolated Bering Sea.  I will on occasion be adding to this series.
